Ajax Hub and detectors use a multi-layer link to protect against detector tampering, jamming and/or loss of radio signal. This two-way communication with addressed detectors guarantees system integrity. Each data transfer between the Ajax Hub and the detector is transmitted in the form of small data packets. This data is encrypted using a patented algorithm based on AES technology. The range between the detectors and the Ajax Hub is up to 2,000 meters in open air or across several floors. So you don't have to worry about where to place the detectors.
