Compensation module for dimmers, ensuring proper operation of lamps rated at less than 8 VA. Compatible with Ajax LightSwitch (Dimmer) and third-party dimmers.
The bypass is connected in parallel with a low-wattage lamp controlled by a dimmer.
A dimmer requires a minimum residual current to operate. Below approximately 8 VA —which applies to most modern LEDs—this current is insufficient: the light flickers, remains dimly lit when off, or fails to turn on.
The Bypass provides this additional load and eliminates the issue. Compatible with the Ajax LightSwitch (Dimmer) as well as third-party dimmers.
