The SmartBracket is the mount onto which the hub clips. It comes with the hub; this is an additional unit.

A second mounting bracket allows you to set up two locations—a utility room and an office, for example—and move the unit from one to the other without having to drill new holes. It also serves as a replacement part if the original bracket is damaged during removal.
