The OutletCore (LAN) features two network ports in the same format as Ajax outlets and switches. This allows a single row to combine power and network connections behind a single frame.
Wi-Fi is suitable for most uses, but not all. A 4K TV, a workstation, a game console, a video recorder, or an access point requires a stable connection that only a cable can provide.
This is especially true for an NVR or a PoE camera, whose data rate cannot tolerate fluctuations in a wireless network.
The Ajax Outlet Cover (LAN), which is specific to this outlet, must be ordered separately.
