The Ajax FireProtect combines a heat sensor and a smoke sensor and continuously monitors the room. It alerts you as soon as smoke appears or there is a sudden rise in temperature.

What sets it apart from Generation 2

Its housing is significantly flatter: 31 mm versus 54 mm, which is still a plus in a room where the sensor shouldn't stand out visually.

However, it does not offer the same power options as the FireProtect 2, which supports replaceable batteries, sealed batteries, or AC power.

For a new installation

We recommend the FireProtect 2 series. This model is a good choice for supplementing an existing installation and maintaining a uniform system.
