Ajax EN54 FireProtect (VAD)

The light signal alone

This version emits only a visual signal. It is intended to supplement sirens that are already installed in locations where the sound is difficult to hear or cannot be heard reliably.

Features

• Visual Alarm Device (VAD) — EN54-certified, addressable
• Four CR123A batteries
• IP54 protection rating
• Indoor installation — white, black, or red

Where it usefully complements a siren

Restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, soundproof booths, and rooms with high acoustic insulation. This also includes areas already covered by a nearby siren, where only the visual signal is needed to meet compliance requirements.

Good to know

This device does not emit any sound. It supplements an audible alarm; it does not replace it.
