Two detection principles, one device

Not all fires start the same way. A smoldering fire gives off smoke long before any heat is generated; a fire involving flammable liquids produces intense heat with almost no smoke. This detector covers both scenarios.

Where to prioritize it

Multipurpose spaces whose use is constantly changing, storage areas containing a variety of items, and mixed-use office-workshop spaces. Anywhere where the nature of a fire’s origin cannot be predicted, combined detection eliminates the need to choose.

Good to know

In a room where smoke is common—such as a kitchen or workshop—the " Heat Only" version is preferable: the smoke-detection component of this detector would cause false alarms in such environments.
