The Ajax FireProtect Plus adds a carbon monoxide sensor to the FireProtect detector. It therefore covers all three hazards—open fire, smoldering fire, and CO poisoning—in the same slim housing.

Carbon Monoxide

Odorless and invisible, CO is produced by any incomplete combustion: boilers, stoves, water heaters, and fireplaces. Detecting it is the only way to be alerted to its presence, and that alone justifies choosing this model for a home heated by gas, oil, or wood.

For a new installation

The FireProtect 2 (Heat, Smoke, and CO) offers the same coverage with a choice of power source. This model is suitable for adding to an existing fleet.
