Keep the wired system; replace the control panel

An older wired system consists of meters of cable and dozens of detectors that are still in working order. The MultiTransmitter connects up to 18 wired zones to the Ajax system: the detectors stay in place, but the control panel is replaced.

Each zone remains identified

The zones are not aggregated into a single signal: each one appears individually in the app, along with its name and history. A wired detector from 2005 is therefore just as easy to read as a new Ajax detector.

Economic Analysis

Replacing eighteen wired detectors costs significantly more than a single module. For a renovation, a retail space, or a building that’s already equipped, this is often what makes switching to Ajax financially feasible.
