The Ajax CombiProtect combines two functions that are usually separate: volumetric motion detection and glass break detection. One installation instead of two, and only one device to power and maintain.

Two ways to get notified

The acoustic sensor detects the characteristic frequency of breaking glass; the alarm is therefore triggered at the moment of the break-in, before the intruder has entered the room. The motion sensor takes over if the intruder moves further in.

This combination is particularly well-suited for living rooms, sunrooms, and rooms with large windows, where the weak point is the window rather than the door.
