Ajax MotionProtect

Motion detection, in its simplest form

The Ajax MotionProtect monitors an entire room and alerts you to any human movement. It is the most widely installed detector in the lineup, and the one most people start their systems with.

Features

• Volumetric detection — covers the entire room
• Immunity to Pets
• Indoor Installation
• Available in white and black
• Battery life lasting several years

Animal immunity is no small matter: without it, a cat walking through the living room sets off the alarm, and a system that sounds the alarm for no reason ends up being permanently disarmed.

Installation requires no wiring or wall cutting. The detector is mounted on the wall and communicates with the control panel via radio, automatically reporting any attempt to remove or jam it.

Alternatives

To receive photos when an alarm is triggered, choosethe Ajax MotionCam. For environments prone to false alarms—such as drafts, heating, or direct sunlight—the Ajax MotionProtect Plus adds a second detection mode.
