Why a curtain rather than a volumetric detector?

In a garden, a volumetric sensor sees everything: the street, the neighbors, the trees. A curtain sees only a single line—the one that must be crossed to get close. This significantly reduces false alarms.

The dual-sensor technology enhances this filtering process: both sensors must agree for the alarm to be triggered.
