The device detects which door or window is open using high-quality British Reed relay switches that are activated by a magnetic field. It can operate in transmitter mode, sending a signal from the wired sensor to the hub. The device consists of two modules—a sensor and a magnet. The set includes two magnets: the large magnet is installed at a distance of up to 2 cm, and the small magnet at a distance of up to 1 cm.
