Transmit via VHF radio
Some sites cannot rely on the internet or the cellular network—either because there is no coverage or because regulations or the insurer require dedicated radio transmission. The vhfBridge connects the Ajax system to a third-party VHF transmitter.
Features
- Eight outputs configurable as NO or NC
- Compatible with third-party VHF transmitters
- 100–240 V AC power supply; 12 V backup battery available
- Indoor installation — white or black
What are the eight outputs used for?
Each output transmits a distinct event type: intrusion, fire, panic, sabotage, power loss, or fault. The VHF transmitter thus receives a specific signal rather than a generic alarm, allowing the control center to handle each situation correctly.
For what type of website
Remote locations without cell service, facilities required to transmit radio signals, and buildings connected to an existing VHF network.
