Why two discs?

A recorder's hard drive writes continuously, day and night. This is the most demanding use case for this component, and it's only a matter of time before it fails. With two drives, a failure won't cause the history to be lost.

The 1 Gbit/s data rate—ten times faster than 100 Mbit/s models—also makes it possible to effectively operate multiple 8 MP cameras simultaneously.

Good to know
